Nancy Létourneau

In 2005, Nancy Létourneau was the first woman to participate & win the #Quebec mine rescue championship, is currently the President of the Association minière du Québec’s Catamine committee and is responsible for #sustainable devp management for Agnico Eagle Mines Limited’s LaRonde Complex.

Siren Fisekci, Pan American Silver’s VP of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications, has 25+ yrs experience managing effective stakeholder engagement in Canada’s mining and natural resource sectors.

Nancy Guay

Nancy Guay has 25+ yrs experience in the mining sector and has worked in many positions with Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, including currently as VP of Technical Services-as a Board member of ReThinkMining Powered by CMIC Nancy strongly believes that innovation is key to building a more sustainable mining industry.

Nathalie Prud’Homme

As Eldorado Gold Corporation’s #Québec Exploration Superintendent, Nathalie Prud’homme is a geologist with decades of experience in exploration and project management. She had the pleasure to see some of the projects she was involved in turn into a mine and is actively looking to add a new one to Eldorado’s portfolio.

Joanna Chen

Joanna Chen is Golder’s Senior Geotechnical Engineer with 26 years of consulting and academic research experience, specializing in the design of tailings facilities and tailings dam breach analysis for mining and oil sands clients. Joanna is a core member of the Canadian Dam Association’s working group developing guidelines for tailings dam breach analysis.

Michelle Edwards

Michelle Edwards is an HR Leader and advocate for healthy, engaged and productive workplaces. At Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, she is forging a path for more diverse and inclusive leadership in the mining sector.

Elaine Lafleur

Cameco Corporation’s Elaine Lafleur has ~40 yrs mining experience in everything from process operating to industrial mechanic work to, most recently, training. She has taught at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and is a Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission Board Director representing women in trades.

Heather Bruce-Veitch

As Director of COMMs/External Relations for Rio Tinto’s IOC, Heather has vast experience in maintaining lasting relationships with various governments and communities located near the mine’s activities. She has received the Women in Mining Canada’s Trailblazer Award and is Chair of Mining Industry NL.

Dominique Bousquet

Dominique Bousquet, Eldorado Gold Corporation Québec’s Chief Geologist, has worked in exploration, prospecting, mapping and drilling campaigns and has honed her mining expertise since 2012. She is also actively involved within the company and within her community to make a difference. Her innovative side and her great team spirit are major assets for Eldorado Gold.

Cristina Bertoni

As Yamana Gold Inc’s VP of Procurement Cristina Bertoni is responsible for all supply chain & procurement operations for the company. She is passionate about D&I and has received awards for her work in enhancing diversity and inclusion.
