Protocolo de evaluacion de HMS 2011

Este documento proporciona una herramienta para ayudar a las compañías a evaluar el estándar del manejo de relaves que sus instalaciones están implementando , según los indicadores de desempeño del manejo de relaves de HMS. Este protocolo identifica un conjunto de indicadores que deben evaluarse anualmente y gracias a los cuales se monitorean anualmente las mejoras en el desempeño. El uso de este protocolo también mejora la consistencia de las evaluaciones que se llevan a cabo entre compañías. Además, esta herramienta se diseñó para permitir la verificación externa del desempeño de una compañía, consistente con el sistema de verificación de HMS y el compromiso de la iniciativa hacia la transparencia y el cumplimiento.
