As Director of Communications, Meagan leads the association’s strategic communications and media relations. Her career has spanned senior roles in government and the private sector, including Press Secretary to the Premier of Nova Scotia and Senior Advisor to a provincial cabinet minister. She has also worked as a public affairs and communications consultant, where she advised Canadian companies and industry associations on strategic communications, issues management and media relations. Meagan holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Master of Journalism from the University of King’s College in Halifax.
