Karen Rees is an experienced mineral exploration professional whose decades-long career is complemented by a strong commitment to giving back to the industry. Through more than 15 years of volunteer involvement with Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), including service on numerous committees and the Board of Directors, she has demonstrated a sustained commitment to industry leadership and professional development. Now serving as President, Karen continues to support the organization and help advance the next generation of mineral industry professionals. Her extensive experience, leadership, and dedication to the mining community make her an outstanding choice for MAC’s Women in Mining series.
