THE VOICE OF THE CANADIAN

MINING INDUSTRY SINCE 1935

Annual Report 2020

A year in review of MAC activities and achievements.

2020 represented an unprecedented year not just for Canada’s mining industry but the world at large due to the impacts of COVID19. Throughout the year, Mining Association of Canada (MAC) members’ top priority focused on the health and safety of their employees, their contractors and the communities in and around which they operate. Even with the ongoing pandemic, MAC and its member companies have been extremely busy in speaking to the government on many diverse issues impacting Canada’s mining sector on issues ranging from climate change to Indigenous collaboration in mining to critical minerals.

For more details on the topics discussed here, and on other aspects of MAC’s work, we encourage you to read the Annual Report in full.
