Professionally managed and family-owned, we proudly serve a wide range of markets, customers, and communities in North America and Asia Pacific. Graymont is also the strategic partner of Grupo Calidra, the largest lime producer in Latin America.

Essential to a wide range of industrial, construction, and agricultural markets and applications, our calcium-based solutions and products support air and water purification, critical minerals, and production of materials such as paper, glass, steel, and assorted other metals.

Strongly committed to participating in a decarbonized economy, Graymont proactively invests in research and development and works closely with customers on their emerging needs, such as lower-carbon process inputs, low-carbon products, and engineered solutions.

We also invest in and support significant rehabilitation projects and environmental initiatives in communities in which we live, work, and play. We’re also involved in a variety of other community activities that remediate, maintain, and enhance the environment.

With the maturity and stability that comes with almost 80 years of success in the industry, Graymont is a forward-looking organization committed to responsible, sustainable growth over the long term. TSM Performance

The results of the 2024 self-assessment of the Graymont Quebec quicklime plants closely follow the results of the third-party assessment conducted in 2023.  The Water Stewardship as well as the Safety and Health Protocols are the areas both sites perform best.

The Biodiversity Conservation Management Protocol requires the most improvement. Graymont’s assessed sites have been operating for at least a century. Latest site expansion has followed the most up-to-date management practices regarding biodiversity, but legacy areas have yet to include a comprehensive biodiversity management program. Nevertheless, identified species with conservation statuses are managed accordingly at all sites.

There is no reporting for the Tailing Management Protocol as Graymont’s operations do not involve the production of mine tailings.
