TSM Verifier Training

Individuals interested in becoming TSM verifiers can complete the TSM online training program at their own pace or register for the Mining Association of Canada’s annual verifier training workshop. The next workshop for verifiers will take place over four half-days on January 18, 20, 24, and 25, in 2022. For more information on this workshop, and to register, please visit our Eventbrite page.

TSM Verification Guide

In December 2021, the Mining Association of Canada published new policies and guidance realted to the TSM external verification process. The new TSM Verification Guide provides verifiers with guidance on expectations related to the verification process, and includes in appendices an updated Terms of Reference for Verifiers, a new Verification Oversight Policy, and a template for a public Verification Summary Report.

To become a TSM Verifier, qualified individuals must meet meet the conditions outlined in the TSM Terms of Reference for Verifiers.

Companies Undergoing External Verification in 2022

In 2022, the following companies will undergo external verification of TSM performance. Communities of interest with information relevant to the external verification process for a particular facility are encouraged to contact the verifier with this information. As verifiers are identified for the below scheduled verifications, their contact information will be added alongside that of the company being verified.
